The Parkway (US 441) is the primary roadway through Gatlinburg and downtown. The charming downtown area offers visitors a wide selection of shops and shopping centers. There is an endless number of family attractions including miniature golf, museums, arcades and more! You can even visit the Gatlinburg Space Needle that overlooks the entire city, so you can see all of the great things to do in Gatlinburg.
Both the Sky Lift and Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway take visitors to the top of adjacent ridges for outstanding views of the town and landscape. For the adults, moonshine distilleries and wineries are also located in the heart of downtown.
All of this, and so much more, is surrounded by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. From Gatlinburg, there’s a main entrance to the park where you can stop at Sugarlands Visitor Center to learn a little more about the area and pick up a few souvenirs from your visit.
